Qualifications

  • High school/HISET  with direct experience working in the field of Social Services or related field is required. A bachelors degree is preferred. 
  • Strong Interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills ire required.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

  • Outreach and Recruitment: Identifying and engaging potential participants in the WIOA OJT program. 
  • Eligibility and Assessment: Determining program eligibility and conducting comprehensive assessments of participant skills and needs.
  • Individualized Case Management: Developing and implementing individualized service plans, providing counseling and support, and tracking participant progress. 
  • Placement Assistance: Facilitating job placement and connecting participants with employers who offer WIOA OJT opportunities.
  • Barriers Identification and Removal: Identifying and addressing barriers to employment and education, such as transportation, childcare, or lack of skills.
  • Supportive Services: Providing or referring participants to necessary supportive services, such as childcare, transportation, or training.
  • Follow-up and Retention: Providing ongoing support and follow-up services to ensure participant success and retention in employment. 
  • Collaboration and Communication: Working with employers, training providers, and other stakeholders to ensure program effectiveness and participant success.
  • Data Collection and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of services provided and reporting on participant outcomes.
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Community Outreach: Presenting information about the WIOA program to community groups, schools, and other organizations.
