Qualifications

A bachelors degree in Accountancy is required. Experience with General Ledger accounting is required. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles. Proficient in MS Office and Excel.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assist in all accounting activities, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and corporate accounting tasks.
  • Maintain the general ledger through posting transactions and entries.
  • Implement and adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in reviewing financial transactions and statements.
  • Conduct general ledger maintenance and aid with month-end closing.
  • Assist with the completion of month-end, annual budget, and year-end audits.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and meet deadlines, even in demanding situations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
