MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and professional School Administrator to join our St Louis Excel Center team! The ideal candidate will support our mission, "Changing Lives Through the Power of Work!" and embody our core values of diversity, integrity, passion, professionalism, respect, and responsibility.
If you're seeking an opportunity that empowers you to achieve new goals while pursuing a mission-driven career, then this is the perfect fit for you.
About the Role
The Excel Center School Administrator role is not a traditional principal role. It’s a role where adult learners, who have chosen to invest in themselves, are the center of our daily work. Unlike traditional graduates, our graduates are parents, grandparents, caretakers, and family members who receive a credit-bearing diploma (not a GED) with generations of loved ones cheering in the seats. This role will challenge your mental models of what school can be and what it can do to change lives through the power of work. Your innovative leadership will rewrite the ending of our students’ educational past and start a new story of their families’ lives with rewarding careers and sustainable wages. Your school’s success isn’t about test scores, it’s your team’s ability to transition our students into the workforce and become economically self-sufficient.
If you’re ready for a bucket-filling leadership opportunity alongside passionate, mission-driven educators, this could be the next chapter in your professional journey.
