Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accountancy with 3 years of related work experience in financial analysis, uniform guidance, or general ledger, including journal entries.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

  • Coordination of the grant accounting transaction cycle, including policy and procedure assurance.  
  • Primary liaison between MERS/Missouri Goodwill and grant providers as well as the responsibility to assist the Grants Accounting Manager with annual Uniform Guidance Audit.
  • Invoice preparation and processing, including document maintenance and monthly account reconciliation.
  • Coordinate and verify supporting documentation to insure accurate and timely month end reporting.
  • Review monthly grant income statements for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with completion of annual budget and year end audit.
  • Assist in coordination and completion of the annual Uniform Guidance Audit.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
