Accounts Payable Supervisor

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accountancy or an associate degree with 5 years of work-related experience in financial analysis, purchasing, or accounts payable.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the full accounts payable transaction cycle, ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Prepare invoices and complete vendor invoice packages within two business days to ensure timely processing and payment.
• Ensure that all agency policies and procedures are followed.
• Supervise daily operation of the accounts payable department.
• Coordinate, prepare, and verify supporting documentation to ensure accurate / timely invoice package preparation and general ledger recording.
• Serve as liaison between MERS/Missouri Goodwill and vendors.
• Perform monthly aging review with Controller.
• Review accounts payable policies and procedures semi-annually with submission of process improvement items, if possible.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
