MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and professional E-Commerce Lego Processor to join our E Commerce team! Qualifications

 

No degree is required. High School Diploma/GED Preferred.  The ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with co-workers, customers, and management. Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population—necessary math, computer, and website navigation skills. Complex reasoning and decision-making skills are required. Detail oriented. Pop culture knowledge is preferred. The ability to type 40 + WPM is strongly preferred.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

  • Quality sort high volume batches of Lego products.
  • Accurately sort figures and brick pieces into appropriate categories or sets.
  • Distribute items to appropriate locations, ensuring unacceptable items are disposed of correctly.
  • Identify high-value items to be sold online.
  • Produce quality photographs that show products from all angles, displaying key features, markings, or potential flaws.
  • List products with no spelling errors or inaccurate information.
  • Write detailed product listings with accurate and trend-relevant descriptions and titles.
  • Notify the supervisor of any errors in listing, photography, or damage of products.
  • Prepare the production station before and clean the station after every shift.
  • Establishes and maintains positive and professional relationships with team members and leadership and works cross-functionally with other teams to increase communication. 
  • Utilizes safe work practices through awareness and observation and contributes to ensuring the workplace is hazard-free by removing obstructions and keeping aisles and designated walkways debris-free. 
  • Maintain a professional appearance always, adhering to MERS/Goodwill's dress code.
  • Safeguards agency assets, including cash, donated items, and purchased items, from harm, damage, or theft. Reports any incidents of theft or unauthorized possession of agency assets.
  • Must adhere to all MERS/Goodwill policies, Goodwill Retail procedures, and safety and security regulations.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirement:

Ability to move throughout the facility.  Lift 50 pounds, push and pull loads of 100+ pounds. Full range of motion, bending-lifting-twisting-pulling-and pushing. Ability to work with small items without strain. Ability to stand or sit for up to 4 hours, operate the computer touch screen and scanning equipment and use warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and dollies to move products.
